Today I took my dog and hiked for a few hours, lots to see and a big increase over what I saw last week. There's more in my photo blog along with a link to the Save Our Boreal Birds petition. Blog is at http://photo.asic.ca/blog

A few shots:

"To be a better nature photographer, be a better naturalist. The more you know about nature, the more you will see to photograph. Develop a deeper compassion for the world around us, and live by an ethic of concern for the subject matter."
