Beautiful day for birding between 11am and 1pm. Birds and birdsong everywhere.
Yes! the lone whimbrel was still there at noon. (Pic to follow once I can get this Flickr thing sorted.) Also earlier a spotted sandpiper and several semi-palmated sandpipers and sanderlings.
6 goslings with a pair of C. geese far side of pond opp. marina. Swans but no cygnets.
RWBBs and robins galore. Also multiple tree and barn swallows
Mocking bird. (A fellow birder advised me the baby had died.)
Turtles sunning themselves on the first pond.
A great day!
