Just back from the TOC birding day on the Toronto Islands, cold start but got a lot warmer as the day went on. I only made it half way, so I/m sure others will provide a fuller report.
My highlights, first time seen were (and photos taken, mainly really crappy however, only posting the slightly less bad ones, see Photo board)
Rusty blackbird (pointed out by group members)
Peregrine falcon (pointed out by group members)
Common Snipe (pointed out by group members)
Harrier (pointed out by group members)
Merlin (pointed out by group mmebers)
Hermit thrush (pointed out by group members)
Guess who just doesn't seem to be able to see stuff and/or identify. Thanks to the group who helped enormously.
Lots of other stuff seen, apart from common stuff like Phoebe's and white crowned/throated sparrows, the group was pointing out loads of stuff to myself and my wife.
