Yesterday afternoon there was a significant movement of Scoters out over Lake Huron at Pinery Provincial Park. In only 10-15 minuters a flock of about 50 White-winged Scoters and at least 2 flocks totaling 150 what I believe was Black Scoters. Also 2 Bonaparte's Gulls and 2 Red-breasted Mergansers over the lake. At the Visitor Centre (open weekends 12-5 pm) feeders there were 2 Tufted Titmouse (are pretty reliable late fall/winter), 1 Red-bellied Woodpecker, Juncos, Chickadees, Blue Jays, Goldfinches and White-breasted Nuthatches.
