Today was a very busy renovation day for me. This morning while waiting for my able assistant to show up I spotted a Dark Eyed Junko (I have never seen one during the fall here). Also a large group of Grackles moved throught the area. During our lunch break I heard a Red winged black bird (I haven't seen or heard one in a long time). This evening while out front cutting a piece of wood a large Accipiter (most likely a Cooopers) flew from my neighbours tree across the street a few doors down. I Stopped production for a few minutes and went looking for it Wrong lens on camera and all. As usual Nothing.
I think the heavy frost last night had a lot to do with the increased activity today. It has been really quiet lately
