Here's a few so far from our trip to Bosque del Apache in December. I'll start with some of their specialities.
Pyrrhuloxia - aka Desert Cardinal
Mountain Bluebird
Lots of Ross's Geese
Say's Phoebe
Curved-billed Thrasher

Kin ... great pix. My favourite is your photo of the Curved-billed Thrasher.

beautiful pics!
i especially like the desert cardinal.the exposure is dead on,with the head positioned perfectly, showing a great catch light in the eyes.the prickly perch,is a bonus, and compliments the bird,s colours.

Ken,
All of the pictures are terrific especially the desert cardinal !
If you don't mind me asking - how many new life sightings did you make ?
Thanks ,
Jim

Thanks to everyone for your encouragement.
I added 21 birds to my life list, but I already had some western birds like the Ferruginous Hawk, Prairie Falcon, Say's Phoebe, Brewers Blackbird on previous trips out west. I listed everything here
