This was my first visit to LaSalle Marina and it was well worth it.  There were Mute & Trumpeter Swans, C. Geese, Mallards, Redheads, Red-Breasted Mergansers, American Coots, Greater Scaup, Bufflehead and a Bald Eagle flew overhead.  Also visited the Burlington Lift Bridge to practice more in-flights.  The numbers of Long Tails have decreased, but there are still lots.  There are also Mergansers, Scoters, and White-Wing Scoters.  The Peregrine Falcons were seen at a bit of a distance - the female eating (same as my last visit!).

Super shots!  Glad you finally made it to LaSalle. Vince and I  were there Sunday afternoon too .. but the Coot wouldn't come out of the water to get a "foot" shot!! We looked for the Tundra swan that someone reported , but couldn't find it among so many swans.   We didn't see as much variety as you did.  We also went to the lift bridge looking for the falcons .. but no luck.  Great day and great photos.

Great shots Moira...LaSalle is a great spot for winter ducks.  You sure got close to that Coot, the feet scare most people away :)
