Oh yes, had a little visitor today we could have done without!
At 2pm we noticed a funny smell on the upstairs landing but not in the bedrooms - weird. Hubby was afraid he was going to have to make a foray into the loft. (We've had racoons up there in the past.)
But he looked outside and there was a skunk writhing around on the back lawn! We called Animal Control in Brampton and they made a quick response and dealt with the little fella v. professionally. The officer said the animal had distemper.
All the while this was going on our resident cardinal was singing away!
