hi

We saw those species too-- it was a lovely day with great viewing conditions. In the afternoon we saw a lone Brant grazing with about 50 ring-billed gulls for company. Is this relatively rare/ transitory? I'm from BC, where they're common because they over-winter.

I knew I was forgetting something!  Yes I saw the brant also.  They are officially an "uncommon migrant" in this area.
