Hello there

My wife and I spotted 4 female deer today at around noon along the westbound 401, northside just east of the Credit river, in a farmers field

thought that was neat.

Great forum.

Victor.

It is amazing how many deer are living in and around Toronto. If you have an opportunity to take your eyes off the traffic on the Don Valley Parkway or if you are a passenger along for the ride, take note of the areas alongside the highway. I have seen deer from the Bloor Viaduct while walking accross it in the early morning (sunrise), just north of Bloor Street on the east and west sides of the DVP and just south of Lawrence on both sides. Another place to see deer frequently is the north side of the 401 west of Mavis Rd. and along the north side of the 401 at the southwest corner of Pearson International (late afternoon or early morning). Caution is needed though as last spring, a doe was hit and killed by car on the southbound DVP near the the Laird bridge.
