We wanted to get some fresh air, so we spent an hour at the dam. It was a nice surprise to see the Brown Creeper. We were near the horse barn, looking at the Cardinals, Chickadees, Juncos, and Downy and Hairy woodpeckers, which were flying around that area. A female Hairy had dropped to the ground to feed on some bread. While I was admiring her, the creeper came into view behind her. In that same spot, I saw a White-breasted Nuthatch. There were only 4 Mallards and 1 Canada Goose on the water. A Red-tailed Hawk and 2 Crows flew overhead, but not at the same time.
