A pair (male and female) Mallard ducks have assiduously visited my closed pool (since April) with water and some leaf matter on the cover. In past years I have also noted regular visits by Mallards but cannot say it was the same pair.
I need to clean the pool and drain it. The ducks have flown in twice and noticed the change stayed around for about an hour each time before flying away.
My granddaughter misses them and wants to know if they would be coming back when the new cover is on? :?
