In a week full of surprising spots there were a couple more to end the week with.
I spotted the black tern on the waterfront in Port Perry behind the library. The ospreys were at the farm next to White Feather Farm on the corner of Raglan and Simcoe. One was perched, the other was circling.
I spotted the merlin on a side road to the southeast of Port Perry on the telephone wires.
