When I got home last night ... as I drove up the drive .. many birds flew from the flower bed ! Thought is strange that there would be so many "Robins" on the Echinacea, Phlox, Daisies etc.
WELL ... when I looked out to the back yard .. there were many many young Orioles on the bushes, trees and flowers. They were using the Gladiola flowers as drinking cups!! Good thing I happened to stake them the night before. Will post some pics soon. There were none this morning though I refilled the oriole feeder and hung some slices of orange.
