Observed an Osprey late this afternoon while jogging the Humber ravine. The Osprey was over the Park Lawn cemetery, heading in a westerly direction. Some years ago, there was an active Osprey nest in the Humber marshes south of Bloor, but there have been no observations for quite some time. Maybe a pair has returned. It seems pretty late for a migrant, and the direction was wrong. I will keep my eyes open for more sightings.

I saw one land in our yard with a mouse in his mouth a few months back and regularly see one hovering above the grass on the Dundas St Exit off Hwy 427 South, seen him for years....

Birding takes my mind off stuff and it adds good life to a tuff life. It also helps me forget about my spine pain and stress.  Laugh, eat, be merry.  Anybody with extra $ may send me some as It will permit me to travel.
