I was looking for butterflies when I heard a lot of noise from the other side of the stream near the western most footbridge. I walked up the path leading to the upper gardens and saw two small redtails in the pine trees near the top of the path. (I think they nest there every year). Not much of a photo-op because they were pretty high up (and moved higher when I approached!). They were really noisy; are they still being trained (or fed) by the parents? I didn't see any adult hawks.
