If you caught him at Lynde shores I think you should let him go.I believe it is an immature Bald eagle, it seems to have a huge beak and the colouring of maybe a first year eagle. Any idea of size compared to other birds?

Thanks Birddog. It was kind of hard to judge the size, I'd say a bit bigger then a Redtail.

Yes, Juv Bald Eagle. It might be the same one I saw at the Scarborough Bluffs. The plumage is quite similar.

Thanks Kin, there was actually two of them flying overhead out there. I couldn't get both of them together. I was on the bird feeder trail at the time and was shooting between the trees.
