Hi everyone. I was wandering around Maplewood Park this afternoon from 12:15-2:15pm. Sighted the following:
Chickadees - lots
Downy Woodpecker (f) x 1
House Sparrows - lots
Not sighted but definitely heard ... very loud hammering coming from inside tree, inner bark blasting out of tree hole about 20 feet up. Pileated Woodpecker?
