Hi everyone.

Saturday morning, 7:30am ... Sharp-shinned Hawk flys right across the front of my face at Lake Aquitaine.  Third time this has happened!

Walk at Maplewood Park from 7:45-9:15am.  Sighted:  Cardinals, Chickadees, Mourning Doves, Red-breasted Nuthatches and Sparrows.

Walk at Lake Aquitaine from 9:30-10:45am.  Sighted:  Blue Jays, Cardinals, Chickadees, Juncos, Mallards, Mourning Doves, Red-breasted Nuthatches and Sparrows.

Lake Aquitaine:  SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave, behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.

Maplewood Park.  East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.

Hi Jim.  Thank You for your posting.  :)

I love seeing the bright blue of the Blue Jays and bright red of the male Cardinal with snow in the background!

Hi Joanne .. I too like the Red Cardinals and Bluejays against the snow.  We were in Welland at my daughters and there were many of both at her feeders.  I saw a Sharpie fly across Erin Mills Pkwy on my way to work this morning.  It was heading east to the car dealership (January sale?   ) from Lake Wabukayne.  I had seen one there a week ago.  Also had one unsuccessful attempt by a Sharpie (maybe Cooper's) at catching a Mourning dove in our back yard Sat. afternoon!!  We thought it was coming through the glass sliding door!!  Neither the dove or Sharpie were hurt and we got some pics.

Hi Sue.  Thank You for your posting.  Too funny re: car dealership!

I'm seeing a Sharpie up here 3-4x per day!  Starts up at Maplewood Park, flys around Lake Aquitaine, heads down to Lake Wabukayne (probably the same Sharpie you're seeing) then past my livingroom window on way back up to Maplewood Park.   He's doing the "Meadowvale circuit".  8)

Re: Maplewood Park ... I forgot to post that there was a male Cardinal sitting at tip of tree, singing up a storm.  Finally a female Cardinal appeared and they flew off together.
