I was at Etobicoke Creek this afternoon (just north of the Lakeshore GO overpass, by the dam), and among the dozens of goldfinches, chickadees, cardinals, and downy/hairy woodpeckers was a small group of robins, one of which was quite neat looking!
The others, to be fair, were also quite beautiful against the snowy backdrop, and very tame.
There was also a pair of very friendly mockers sharing the same berry bush:
I was there for a couple of hours and the birds were incredibly noisy - I did see a Cooper's Hawk leaving the area south as I got there, but it did not come back and the birds did not seem worried in the least. They were too busy stuffing their faces.
