If anyone wants to see some Horned Larks and Snow buntings closer to the city there is a good size flock for the last few weeks hanging on Wyecroft Road in Burlington/Oakville border
This is just south of the QEW at the Burloak Drive exit
They are usually in the field across from the shopping center,i see them quite regularly while grocery shopping

Thanks for the tip! I was lucky enough to see a good-sized flock of snow buntings at Rouge Park last weekend, but never see either of those types in the city. That would be pleasant, I'd imagine: pushing a shoppingcart around, buying groceries, knowing the beautiful horned larks are just outside...
Thanks again

We were there a couple of weeks ago and the only bird we saw was a Kestrel.  :(  We'll have to try again.  Good to know they've been there for a while.

Kestrel usually always at the corner , try looking for the buntings and larks where the new traffic lights are being put in along Wyecroft, on the south side
there is a gate and that field has been plowed, the birds like feeding in there
