I hapened on this Great Horned Owl on Thursday afternoon, my first one ever.
Then on Friday morning I went back to the same place and got him again, (Lucky I guess)
Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket!

Hi Reg,nice shots. Great Horned Owls are usually on nests by now so there may be one in the area. If its a male he'd often have the nest in his sight line from where he is. Poke around being very careful not to disturb anything.

Thanks BIGFRANK, He was perched in the same area both days, on different trees, but they were
parallel to each other, on Thursday he was to the east faceing west, on Friday he was to the west
faceing east. I'll have to keep an eye open.
