Today, my hubby and I checked out LaSalle and Humber Bay. We had some nice sightings. At LaSalle, the highlights were: Canvasbacks, 1 female Hooded Merganser, Ruddy Ducks, 5 American Coots, and 2 Horned Grebes (starting to get their breeding plummage).
At Humber Bay, we had 1 Northern Mockingbird, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 1 Kildeer, and 7 American Wigeons. That is the most wigeons I've ever seen together.
