Friday, March 30, 2007 - Toronto Islands
Note - Again very little was seen on the lake.
- Double-crested Cormorant - 41 - overhead thru-out
- Black-crowned night-Heron - 2 - Snug Harbour
- Ring-necked Duck - 24 - Lighthouse and Trout Ponds
- White-winged Scoter - 19 - 18 on harbour off Snake Island and 1 in Lighthouse Pond
- Bufflehead - 109 - thru-out
- Common Merganser - 27 - In Eastern gap at Wards Island, Snake, and Wildlife Sanctuary
- Hooded Merganser - 4 - over Snug and in Lighthouse Pond
- Belted Kingfisher -1 - Snake
- Downy Woodpecker - 6 - Snake, Centre Island and Sanctuary
- Northern Flicker - 3 - Wards
- Eastern Phoebe - 4 - Wards and Hanlans Point
- Tree Swallow - 6 - Over Snug and Hanlans
- Black-capped Chickadee - 24 - thru-out
- Winter Wren - 6 - Wards and Sanctuary
- Golden-crowned Kinglet - 58 - thru-out
- American Robin - 100 - thru-out
- Field Sparrow - 2 - west side of airfield fence on Hanlans
- Savannah Sparrow - 1 - west side of airfield fence on Hanlans
- Fox Sparrow - 9 - Wards
- Song Sparrow - 74 - thru-out - that wave of migrants brought down by the fog on Tuesday have mostly moved on
- Dark-eyed Junco - 43 - thru-out
- Northern Cardinal - 19 - thru-out
- Red-winged Blackbird - 150 - thru-out and overhead thru-out
Also seen were Redheads, a Blonde on the Ferry
, Killdeer, Hairy Woodpecker, Brown Creepers, House Finches and American Tree Sparrows plus the usual suspects.
