So sitting on my butt in a bug infested bog actually paid off.
Who knew  :roll:
It took 2 hours to get these shots, but I left with a big smile on my face so it was well worth it.
Thanks for looking
Meghan

Beautiful shots Meghan,
 Don't tell me you got this at Cranberry Marsh, I've been hearing one there all week,
one day I almost stepped on him, he flew up in front of me and disappeared in the reeds, I wasn't able to get a shot
of him, and I haven,t seen him since.

Get out there _early_ approx 6am before anyone else, and you'll likely see several. Otherwise, I've had them right off the north platform many times.

@Meghan, lovely shots. Congrats

I think it was well worth the investment in time Meghan. Excellent shots of a bird seldom seen.

Thanks very much everyone.
There were a pair of them running cockroach style through all the reeds, I finally found an open spot they kept having to cross.
Took alot of luck and even more patience but I am very pleased with these photos.
They were taken at a little road side swamp west of Oakville.

Thanks everyone for all your kind words,
It means a great deal to me.
