I watched my backyard throughout the day and it turned out to be quite a good bird day. I had two eastern Pheobes, one of which hung out at my compost box catching insects for about an hour. There was also one winter wren checking out the compost box as well, two brown creepers, fox sparrows, golden-crowned kinglets, song sparrows, one red-breasted nuthatch and a hairy wood pecker was also present. cheers
