Having never seen them previously (although I am sure they must be around...common, even) I thought it noteworthy to report a pair of Northern Mockingbirds hanging around my feeders. They have been here for two-three days now.

My first post...a very interesting website.

Welcome to a fellow newbie.  Yes, Brampton has had mockingbirds for a number of years now.  Some even stick around all winter, but most shift south. Winter wrens are also now moving through our greenbelts, along with creepers and thrushes and other early migrants.
