snapping turtle in my driveway

Look out the window yesterday...during the thunder storm ...to see this beauty strolling down the driveway. I've included a link to  a couple videos I took of her. She obviously had a destination in mind and nothing was stopping her. She crawled over the edge of a retaining wall and fell 5 feet...uninjured. she then proceeded down into our valley and we lost track of her. What a great experience to be able to watch her...

Apparently, there's a boon on snapping turtles this year. I wonder if it's related to what seems like a huge number of dragonflies. Wish I could see a snapper!
