Have you ever found one of those places?
A place where no one is around.
A place basically at the side of a road, that no one really stops and looks at.
A place where people speed by with the only thing on there mind is getting to the place they need to be.
I found one of those places today.

Wow Meghan - some great catches here.  You did really well with the IFs.  Very cool to find a new spot.

Outstanding Meghan, I know just what your talking about. A lot of people don't stop and smell the roses. Hopefully we can all take a few minutes out of our daily routine and see what we're really missing.
The last shot is spectacular, excellent work!

I'll have to think about that, you never know, I hear there is some great things around at this moment.


Thanks to all of you for your nice comments on my photos here.
There are at least 20-30 Great Blue Herons and about 15-25 Night Herons all at different ages.
It's a beautiful  place to visit, except for the cars roaring by at 80KPH.  :roll:
It's right at the side of the road and the locals don't understand the posted 50KPH speed limit.
Lots of sharp turns and I'm afraid someone is going to get a bit too close to me one of these days.
It's a wee bit nerve racking to say the least, but worth it.

THAT has to be GREAT place - 80kmh or otherwise!
