Who's a pretty bird?


First time I've captured an owl in the wild.


Both taken at Royal Botanical Gardens Burlington Ontario,

I am too waiting to photograph an owl (any owl will do). Have never photographed one but never seen one either .

BoboBird, you might want to try Mountsberg Raptor Centre for Owl shots.  They have several and you can get upclose.

Love the Green Heron, great shot.
Lucky you with the GHO.
A friend of mine took me to the nest at the RBG back in the spring.
All you could see was just the top of the young ones heads inside the nest cavity.
They never did poke their heads up in the time we were there. I went back a few weeks later but they had already flegded and were probably back farther in the woods.
I'll try my luck again next year.
