Not the nicest of days to spend outdoors, but it was worth it. Highlights of 57 species included a Nelson's Sparrow, a Long-eared Owl in flight being attacked by gulls and a Merlin, an American Golden-Plover flocking with Sanderlings, a Blue-headed Vireo and uncountable hordes of Long-tailed Ducks.
The numbers for the sparrows aren't particularly representative as there were way more sparrows than I cared to investigate. My Scaup counting strategy is also very selective.
