A pretty bad list overall, but a few good birds. The Tundra Swans were immatures with white plumage and pinkish bills - I stared at them forever thinking they were Mute Swans but knowing there was something a little off. Seeing so many Bluebirds was also great (they were all in the field area near Hanlan's Point). I was disappointed to not see any Bonaparte's Gulls and also to look at all those Canada Geese individually and not find a single Cackler.

262 Canada Goose

35 Rock Pigeon
1 Red-bellied Woodpecker

I think you did pretty good...You must have been there quite awhile, a lot longer than I could have stayed. For me, any day spent birding is a good day. I haven't seen bluebirds since the summer. And the red-bellied woodpecker is one I have yet to see. Well Done.

Yeah, I spent about 6 hours there - longer than I wanted to, because I walked all the way to Hanlan's Point before realizing there is no ferry service there anymore! (Winter schedule).  Wouldn't have seen the bluebirds otherwise though, and these were actually lifers for me.
