Red-belllied Woodpeckers at Riverwood

I found an usual number of Red-bellied woodpeckers feeding on the logs along the trails where people have left seeds and where able to get quite close for some shots, greatest number along path coming down from Riverwood parking lot

How many did you sight?  Would love to see photos!

There were 3 for sure and maybe a 4th all within a 20ft area; however, I was back there today and didn't see one at that spot but there were lots of other tree climbers today  (Downys, Hairys, RBN, and WBN)

They are a joy to see.  It's hit/miss with them in Lambton lately.

I have never sighted a Red-bellied Woodpecker anywhere!   :shock:   Have seen lots of Downy, Hairy and Pileated.
