Took a trip to St Catharines today to look for the King Eider. It was a bit difficult to pick out among all the Mergansers (mostly Common with some Red-breasted) and the waves, even with a scope, but I was finally able to find it. Still would like better views of this beauty, though. There were also a Glaucous Gull and a couple of Double-crested Cormorants.

Also made a stop at Hunter Rd in Grimsby area and was able to pick out all three Scoter species among the waves.
