The swans are flying and we currently have quite a large population in Port Credit harbour.
I have seen as many as 3 dosen at a time within the last month.
Swans are in about the same numbers as geese were when I first moved here 30years ago.
I like like lying in bed at night in the summer with the windows open and listening to them fly by!

I am a long term Port Credit resident living along the lake and enjoy knowing who visits.
I am not a "birder" in the sense that I run off to chase species but I do work at identifying the birds that I see around my neighbourhood.
