Spotted on Monday morning around 8am in the marshy area behind the Science Center.  It was a Juvenile but there was an adult as well which flew out of camera range before I got settled to shoot.

Also spotted were:

Kingfisher 2

king birds 2

Tree Swallows 10 - 12

Barn Swallows 6 - 8
RT Hawk
Great Blue Heron
Ring Billed Gulls

RWBB probably in the area of 50 or 60 of them

Canada Geese 3 or 4 full families with 3 - 4 goslings each.

Cedar Waxwing

Baltimore Orioles - 2 maybe 3 and all stayed too well hidden for a camera shoot.. but were visible enough for an ID
Cardinals - 2 pair
Northern Flicker - well hidden but I caught him in flight and followed him until he landed... in too dark a spot for a decent picture.

Over all a decent outing for the few hours I had to spend before the family woke up and life returned to normal.  Thanks for looking

Thanks for the comments Northerner2.

I shoot with an Olympus E500 and a Sigma 50 - 500 Lens.  The lens weighs 9 lbs but it is the biggest affordable zoom lens to fit my camera's lens mount.  The camera is a decent one but definitely not top of the line... so it makes me be a better photographer to make up for the equipment lol.

Thanks for the info.
Despite not being top-of-the-line (so you say) it clearly does a good job.
Always interested in knowing what camera took what pics.

I am definitely happy with what I can do with it.  Knowing the things you cannot do with your equipment makes one experiment more to get better shots IMO.  And unless I win the lottery this weekend I don't think I can afford another SLR body for quite some time.  If I do win the lottery this weekend then NEW CAMERAS FOR EVERYBODY lol.
