Not a bird, but we found this fella walking about yesterday, and surprisingly, it walked right towards me.

his quills look softish...do they get harder as they get older? cute shot.

Thanks for the comments. The quills on the back were quite rigid.

It was very cute and very tame, it came to within a few feet of me. I wasn't tempted to touch it  :D
