Hi ,I spent the day at Leslie Spit to look for new migrants and had a pretty successful day.
Highlights were 1 Black and white ,4 Pine , 4 Palm  and many Yellow-rumped Warblers, 2 Rusty Blackbirds behind the banding station,  Blue-gray gnatcatcher between Embayment A and B,
3 Dunlin and 2 Greater Yellowlegs on the edge of Cell 1 and flushed 5 Snipe when went to the water's edge to get a photo.
Ended with 70 species, not bad for April in Toronto :)
Best 3 spots were the Wet Woods, the  wooded trail just before the little red bridge and between Embayment A and B in the woods there.
Hopefully there will be more migrants by next saturday for the TOC walk at 8am, usually find something good every year on the walk
Have photos of what i saw today at http://www.flickr.com/photos/andrew-don/

Nice! I was there today too, and got 69 species. I missed your Snipe, Palms and Rusties, but found a Gnatcatcher in the same area as yours, 1 Black and White, 1 Pine, 4 Dunlin and 8 Yellowlegs (could only identify Greaters by sight and sound, but they took off before I could scrutinize them all).

Other notables were a male Black Scoter, 3 Iceland Gulls, Common Tern, House Wren, and several Thrashers, Field Sparrows and Towhees.

I skipped the bird banding station today because I didn't find anything exciting there last week... is it usually worthwhile?

Haha, gotcha.
Just checked the TOC website and it says 8 am, do you know if that's correct or not?
