I just discovered that the Android Audubon birding app is currently discounted to $0.99 (from $19.99).  I don't know if I'd be prepared to pay full price, but it's an incredible bargain at $0.99!

I just checked and iphone, ipad users are in luck, the same pricing applies on iTunes.  They say it's a special price to celebrate JJ Audubon's birthday.  No indication how long the price will last.

That's fantastic Brian.
Thanks for the heads-up on that. I for one appreciate it.
I'd never pay $20 for it but for $0.99 it's cheap at twice the price  :D
Thanks again for posting this.

Just downloaded the app - looks fantastic for 99 cents! Probably better than the $25 ibird app I've been using for the last couple of years. I like the ebird connection too.  Thanks for the post!!!

I tried to download the app from iTunes but my iPhone is just a little too old apparently.  I went for the 'Audubon Guides' app instead which gave me the Birds, the Mammals, the Trees, and also the Wildflowers app all in one special sale priced bundle for $19.99 (60% savings off individual pricing!).  Less than 5 bucks each, still a pretty darn good deal!  An endless amount of info that you can carry around in your pocket!
