Hi everyone. I was walking around Lake Aquitaine today from 12:30-1:30pm and sighted the following:
Canada Geese x 6 - mom, dad and 4 goslings.
Cardinal x 1 (male) - singing up a storm!
Chipping Sparrows x 2
Goldfinches x 2 (1m, 1f)
Grackles - lots
House Sparrows - lots
Mallards x 6 (4m, 2f - one sitting on nest)
Red-winged Blackbirds - lots of males and females
Robins - lots
Butterflies: Cabbage White, Eastern Comma, Red Admirals and pretty sure it was a Question Mark (?). :?
Lake Aquitaine: SE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Aquitaine Ave., behind the Meadowvale Community Centre.
