Off of a side side road west of Cambellville and south of the 401, in a small marshy lake.  What a surprize!!

This little Rookery always amazes me. It have always just been 2 or 3 nests. Never any more.
The one in Richmond Hill has grown from 2 nest in 2002 when it was first discovered to at least 30 now. It is very hard to tell as most of the nest are back behind the tree line. So there could be many more. And it just keeps growing every year.
But the one you have photographed here just stays the same. I could never understand that.  :?
Not very many people know about the one in Campbellville. You don't even really notice if unless you are going northeast around that bend.
Good eyes!!
You should be able to get some good  shots of the young from there as well. As you pictures show you can get a pretty decent line of sight into the nests.
You'll find Rails and Sora in that marshy boggy area as well.
