On Monday 14th I saw 2 Trumpeters from waterfront trail near Port Union Rd and another two at Rouge Beach. Lots of Barn Swallows, Gulls, RW Blackbirds, Canada Geese and 6 Common Terns. I saw some ducks from behind Rouge Hill Go station but too far away to ID them.
On Tuesday 15th I saw one Mute Swan at Rouge Beach, a Great Blue Heron, lots of Barn Swallows, Gulls, RW Blackbirds and a couple of Canada Geese and Common Terns. Behind the Go station I saw more Barn Swallows, Red-breasted Mergansers, Cormorants, Gulls and a couple of Mallards. Much easier to identify ducks on the lake with the spotting scope.
