Three years ago, I chanced upon a single wild Budgie, hanging out with sparrows at a friend's feeder, and thought at the time,"Oh my , what a shame, someone lost their pet"
Last year, while walking through the Don Valley, I saw a sudden flash of yellow and green, about 6-7 wild Budgies flew out of a tree, and I thought, well maybe they're making it through the winter up here.
This year, I've spotted at least 5-7 wild Budgies in my Mulberry tree. Now I have to wonder if they're now migrating, perhaps wintering in South Carolina or Florida?
My question is has anyone been tracking new migration patterns for an introduced species?
I have a couple friends that have seen them, so I know it wasn't my eyes playing tricks.!! lol!!
This is very interesting...anyone?i
