Each autumn I reliably get House and Winter Wrens visiting my garden. The last couple of days I have had a Carolina Wren nosing around. This is great because it's a lifer for me. It's goes to the feeder, but seems unimpressed by the offerings. What can I try to keep it around? I have read that they like chopped apples. I know they go for suet, but I don't feed anything greasy in the warm months figuring it's probably not good for nesting birds' feathers.
