Just wondering if anyone has seen the King Eider duck who last seen at Col Sam park in spring. I saw him alot all winter at Lasalle in Burlington and he seemed to be travelling along the shoreline between parks.

Wondered if he would remain again this winter and maybe develop some adult colouring :D  :D  :D

I don't think it's been reported since late May.  I fact there have been no reports anywhere in Ontario on eBird since May.

There are some interesting birds hanging around there though (aside from the grebe chicks).  There has been a male Red-breasted Merganser for the past week or so.  You don't often get to see them in basic (non-breeding) plumage in Toronto.
