Sorry I am a bit late on Sat report.... been a busy weekend and spending too much time reading the rant on Rattray birder vs photographer so I thought I would get this section back on topic
When to the Islands on Sat with another birder to see what the migration was like.... and short answer it hasn't. Lots of warbling vireos and gnat-catchers so they maybe starting group and leave but as to warblers, most were singles or in groups of 2-3's, could even of been resident families. It was a good trip anyway although started out cool and temperature warmed up a little too fast so results were not as good as we wanted. We birded from Wards to Centre and tried to see all the best spots before crowds started to show up. Our list: 46 species
