God, Richard...don't tell the missus.
I love your second photo. She is perfectly perched on that big beautiful flower.

thanks.
its pretty cool. once every 20 min or so, a hummer would chase another one away and inevitably perch on that flower. i have an unsharp photo of it sideways french kissing the flower.

unfortunately, the lighting today sucked and i should have 20 amazing pictures, but only found these 2 to be salvagable.

Those beautiful flowers are calla lilies, I believe. The second shot is terrific, yes! Where was this? May I ask?

Nice ones Richard!  We kept going back and forth from the watch to the Hummingbirds.  I never got to see them up on those flowers.  I hope that other guy got his shots, he was there for quite a while.

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

that was actually an awesome story.

after i walked back to see you guys (after i said i was leaving), i thought "I'll just walk by the backside to see if that hummer lands on that lilly again". i stopped and 2 seconds later, the hummer lands. i snap away and it leaves. 2 seconds after that, the guy comes out of the bathroom. took a piss right when the hummer landed. :)

anyways, the hummer came back a few times. the lighting varied. i assume he got similar shots to mine. maybe sharper, since my ISO was kicked up high to hell
