I had a difficult time recently reading the hawk watch reports on ONT Birds ( http://www.mail-archive.com/birdalert@o ... index.html)

The numbers of Broad Winged Hawks have been so incredibly high that I "just had to go" for a day to see it myself.  Well, I am a believer after visiting Cranberry Marsh Raptor Watch.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and very a good learning experience mixing in with the experts.

The chickadees and Blue Jays feeding  out of your hand , and the several hummers in the jewel weed, along with the nuthatches, chipmunks, red squirrles and warblers all so close are simply added entertainment.

I will return!

(hey, there's another bald eagle!)
