A very skulky little sparrow from Colonel Samuel Smith Park. A lifer for me... peachy!

The local Humber Bay Pintail drake is back into full breeding plumage, but the lighting wasn't great by the boardwark, so I watched this coot sleep and eat slime instead...

Congrats on the lifer, and an excellent photo of it too.

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

Thank you both. :) It was nice to have a bit of steady sun for a change.

Where did you see that bird? We thought we'd go down to Col Sam Smith on the weekend and try our luck. Thanks in advance for the info.

Great shot of the Sparrow, and the first Coot photo has got crazy feather detail. Good job!

The Nelson's was in the grassy field with the walking path that cuts through it and the swallow boxes, just north of the marina. There is also a larger field just south of the off-leash dog area (west side of the park) where they have also been reported. They're very skulky birds, but if you systematically cover the whole field you will probably end up flushing one sooner or later. I also found a Le Conte's there.

Thank you everyone! :)
