This morning 5 Evening Grosbeaks stopped at our feeders.  We had probably ten minutes of enjoyment viewing them, one male and four females.  But of course our Sharp-shin came around looking for breakfast and sent everyone high tailing it outta here.  Sure hope they return.  Freakin' awesome birds!

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

Great, I haven't seen one of those yet. Hope I encounter one this fall/winter when they are coming south for the first time in many years.

They seem to be popping up all over the place.  Hoping for more sightings over the season.

We live off Scarlett Road and St. Clair, just south of Lambton Woods to give an idea of the area these were.

Rob - Wow, that is awesome!  I haven't sighted those birds since late 80's - early 90's by Lake Muskoka!
